disable directory browising in apache in ubuntu

1. go to sites-available folder in /etc/apache2/sites-available
2. open your site file using vi
3. go to line options and remove indexes word.

if you are in load balance environment, remove at two (more) servers.

restart apache server after the changes to the file.
/etc/init.d/apache2 restart.
